Mission

Patient Care: Deliver patient-centered, high quality, compassionate non-operative care to the persons disabled by spine and musculoskeletal pain syndromes.

Education: Empower the next generation of physiatrists in the comprehensive evaluation and management of the patient disabled by spine and musculoskeletal pain syndromes in an ethical, conscientious, cost-conscious way.

Research: To determine which clinical interventions work most efficiently to maximize function for patients disabled by musculoskeletal pain syndromes while minimizing risk to the patient and minimizing healthcare dollar utilization.

Philosophical Approach

Aggressive non-surgical management of spine and musculoskeletal problems using diagnostic modalities, non-interventional treatments as well as safe, judicious use of percutaneous interventions to augment non-surgical care.

Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Interventional Radiology, Anesthesia, Radiology, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedic Surgery departments not just in clinical care, but also research and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
